What to Expect

We offer identical services for all ages at every service. We offer engaging, age appropriate environments for kids. We’ve found that our kids love coming so much they are asking their parents “When do we get to go back to church?”  But kids are free to attend the main service designed for adults, if they prefer.

Each Sunday service lasts for about 65 minutes. Here is what you can expect to take place in each environment, where fantastic volunteers strive to make everyone feel special.

  • ClubHouse (Birth - Pre-K) - Meets in the Clubhouse

For the young ones who have matured beyond sleeping or being held, we have an opening session with a couple of lively, interactive songs for kids. These songs are repeated for several weeks so kids have time to learn them. For our Bible lessons, we combine videos with activities that involve lots of movement to keep them engaged and learning. We focus each morning on a main point like “God loves me no matter what” or '”God wants me to do my best.”

Kids move to a smaller room based on their age when large group finishes. In their small group, they will have a hands-on learning activity or craft as well as a snack. In this room, the main point is reinforced by their teacher through the activity, craft, or through a story that relates to preschoolers. The kids get time to finish their craft and then have some play time before being picked up.

  • KidzVenture (K - 4th) - Meets in the warehouse

Our elementary age program is fabulous and learning about God’s love is incredibly fun and engaging here. As kidz arrive, they sit down on a carpet square and enjoy some juice and a light non-sugary snack. We have a host personality that directs the hour which includes music videos, games, and lessons delivered through on screen drama.

A main point like “Because I’m forgiven, I should forgive,” becomes the central theme of the day. After the large group time, kidz break into small groups to discuss the main point with a hands-on illustration or activity. This is a time where they ask questions and learn how to live what they are learning. We finish the hour with a review and everyone is rewarded for staying engaged and learning.

    Note:
When Birth through 6th grade children are registered, we ask about allergies. We provide secure check-in and check-out procedures appropriate for each age. We promote the first weekend in June, so they spend the entire summer in their new grade level.

  • Fusion (5th - 6th) - Meets in the Loft

Our pre-teens love to rock the house! When they first arrive, you will find them choosing between playing a video game, foosball, or air-hockey, or chatting with their small group leaders who do an amazing job of making everyone feel welcome! Because these kids are maturing, this environment focuses on helping pre-teens discover and pursue a faith of their own. To do this, we do a hybrid between some video elements and a stage personality that speaks for a short period. We keep things moving and fast paced the entire hour.

There is usually a fun group game that relates to the day’s lesson. A small group session that lasts about 15 minutes is where kids dig deeper and grow friendships with their peers and their small group leaders. We don’t provide snacks for this age because they are old enough to stop by the complimentary coffee shop and pick up a juice, water or hot cocoa and a couple of fresh baked cookies on their way to “The Loft.”

  • Merge (7th - 12th) - Meets in the Garage on Wednesday nights

Merge is comprised of teenagers. We have an awesome Wednesday night event called U-Night. Teenagers have an opportunity to come to  a specific time based on their grade level. 7th-8th grade students (Jr. High) meet from 6:00 - 7:30 and 9th-12th grade students (High School) meet from 7:30 - 9:00. Wednesday allows for more fun activity time and this helps build bonds between teenagers.

There is also a lesson time that is built around a topical theme (i.e. friendship, loneliness, finding happiness, etc). There is no organized small group time on Wednesdays. Almost half of the time that teenagers are here is supervised free-time. There is a snack shop where teens can purchase water, soda, candy bars and even a healthy snack (most items are $.50).

  • Main Service - Meets in the Auditorium

This is our service designed for adults of all ages; however, it is common to see kids of all ages attend here as well. The doors to the auditorium don’t open until 14 minutes before the service begins. But don’t let that stop you from coming sooner. The complimentary coffee shop is expansive with several seating options. The freshly baked cookies, water, juice, hot cocoa and coffee are all free. This is a great place to mingle and meet people.

Once the service starts, you can expect either a fun opener or a high energy song. The band usually sings 4 or 5 songs and many people will join right in with the singing. We put the lyrics on three different displays to make it easy for those who want to know what the words are. Several times a year, we will perform a popular song from the Billboard charts. Whenever this takes place, it is because the song will draw attention to what the message is about. Most of the songs we sing are songs that praise The Heavenly Father, Jesus or The Holy Spirit.

We take time to receive an offering for those that choose to participate and then we have a message that is around 37 minutes. The time flies by so quickly because each message is crafted to relate to our lives and what we are going through, how to prepare for what we’ll go through, or even how to recover from what we’ve gone through. The greatest piece of each message is the hope that is shared every week. It truly is an encouraging time.
